Description

Previous packs from Matrix have covered the 8-wheel Pullman cars built between the wars (the 1923-1927 ‘K’ cars and the 1928-1931 all steel ‘K’ cars). This pack adds the earlier 12-wheel Pullman cars that were built for use on the London, Brighton & South Coast Railway between 1914 and 1917 and for the South Eastern & Chatham Railway in 1921. This pack focuses on the Southern Railway years, but  many of the cars presented here had long careers and were used on the famous Bournemouth Belle until 1961, as can be represented with this pack.
